Utah Finally Relaxes Arcane Liquor Laws


Bar patrons won't have to fill out any more idiotic applications or pay mandatory fees to enter a bar anymore, among other liberalizations

  1. I suppose the Mormon influence in Utah was responsible for such strict controls on liquor. Thankfully someone figured out that you shouldn't need a permission slip to go in a bar!

  2. Yup, and they Baptist influence causes some problems in restaurants in some TX counties, you have to join a private 'club' just to buy a beer!
