Flashback:1976 Swine Flu Outbreak Vaccinations Kill More than the Flu Itself

1976 tally - One dead from swine flu, 30 dead from vaccine

  1. Vaccines are a tricky topic because as with any public health issue, the government has to make decisions based on what's best for the greater good - even if that means losing a few citizens in the process. Here's hoping this newest swine flu doesn't reach pandemic proportions.

By the way, I watched "Argentina Para Armar" (I didn't catch it last Sunday but the full program is available on TN's website). It was an interesting program. Nice to see you on TV! :)

Glad you like the show, I was NERVOUS and repeated myself a few times, and was here for the least amount of time.

Yes, swine flu can be serious and should be looked at, just hate to see an overreaction that might do more harm than good. And maybe we can learn something from the 76 outbreak. I've heard a lot about vaccination risk.

    Thanks for chiming in Katie!

  3. quoting Katie:

This reminds me when I was a little kid and would watch a movie where there were some sort of human sacrifices, so that the God would spare them from some disease or bad weather (sacrifice of a few for a greater good). At that time I thought it was Atrocious, but I was naive enough to think that those people were a thing of the past.
