Pizza Heaven


Having grown up on Long Island NY, pizza is something I'm passionate about. My pizza taste really matured after visiting Pepe's in New Haven CT. What's so great about Pepe's and New Haven Pizza? A lot, especially the way the pizza is cooked, HOT and FAST at over 800 degrees and for about 2 minutes. That high temperature makes for an extremely light and crispy crust. That's partially why the Pepe's faithful freeze their butts off waiting outside for up to an hour.
